New brands you will recognize and cant find elsewhere are now in the store such as our best selling “Not your daughter’s Jeans.” Seen on the TV programme, Mary Queen of Shops, they are so flattering (you look a size smaller) and especially designed for ladies with ‘curves’. Milners Store has featured in a BBC programme 'The Department Store'.

The documentary went out originally on BBC4 in November 2008 however the programme was so strong that the BBC repeated it on BBC2 in April 2009.

Filmmaker Richard Macer visits the high street independent department stores that are fighting back against the big multi-nationals. He spends six months at our family run store filming everything!
