First up - our suppliers! At Milners, we put a lot of care into which brands we’d like to showcase, and strive to offer quality products and a wide range of choices. It’s important to us that we cater for a variety of tastes and budgets, while ensuring what we offer is up to standard. 

When you get to the stage of looking for your perfect fabric or wallpaper, you will be spoilt for choice by iconic British brands such as Colefax and Fowler, Sanderson, and William Morris. No matter your style, we’ll find your dream design! 

Your paint needs will be covered by Little Greene - an independent manufacturer producing high-quality paints, with over 200 colour choices in a range of finishes to suit any project. 

We can also take care of any flooring or carpet installation, with choices from budget-friendly brands like Kellars, top of the range names including Karndean Luxury Vinyl Flooring, and everything in between. 

The Interior Team 

With so many brands and styles to choose from, some people can feel a little overwhelmed - enter our interior team! Sarah and Paula will be there to guide you through the decision process, pointing you in the right direction when needed, and will be your point of contact for any queries or concerns. 

Keith is constantly out and about conducting fittings, measuring up, and handing out advice when required. With nearly 20 years of experience in providing interior services to the folk of the Dales, you can rest assured that you’ll be in good hands! 

We also have a fabulous team of outworkers that have been integral to Milners for quite some time now! Our seamstresses, upholsterer, and fitters are all extremely talented in their trades and will magic up your visions into reality.

The Showroom

Upstairs at Milners is where you will find all of our lovely samples and books. We believe that we have created an unique environment in store that is perfect for choosing your desired style.

Having hundreds of samples from flooring, fabric, paint and wallpaper brands at your fingertips means that you can see how each element sits together before even spending a penny! Use our spacious tables to start moodboarding your project, or even borrow the books so that you can make design decisions in the space you’re looking to refresh. 

If you would like a quiet, laid-back space to start planning your interior project, our shop may be the right place for you. Our aim is to provide a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere where customers can browse our products at their leisure. A member of staff will be available to help or give advice, so we can keep handing you books as we figure out your tastes, or we are happy to completely leave you to it if preferred.

Personalised Services

One of the key elements of our interior design department is our personalised service. Right from the beginning of your enquiry through to the very end of working together, everything will be tailored to you and your home. 

With such an expansive selection of fabrics to choose from, and every product being made to measure by our very own seamstress and upholsterer, you know that your piece will be unique. From selecting your own piping to go with your cushion fabric, to customising your roman blind with a pretty trim. 

We are also happy to be involved as much or as little as the customer requires, be that managing the entire project for you or simply acting as a supply only. Just let us know what you’d like from us and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Aftercare

As part of our bespoke service, we find it extremely important to ensure that our customers are happy with what we have provided for them. If there are ever any issues or concerns, you can simply give us a call and we will always do what we can to alleviate worries or provide a solution, including sending Keith back out to site to take a look or fix any problems.

Although we take great care and pride in what we do, it would be insincere of us to state mistakes have never and will never occur (our business is made up of lovely humans, not robots afterall!). However, we think the most telling thing is how errors are dealt with, and we will always try our best to reach an outcome where the customer is satisfied.
