At Milners our womenswear department is made up of what we believe to be a unique range of fabulous brands, which all compliment each other while offering their own individuality.
They have changed somewhat over the years as the business has been passed down to the next generation, and while Leonie has worked to modernise our offerings. So, we thought we would refamiliarise you all with the current selection of clothing brands we hold in store, perhaps for those who haven’t been into Milners for a while or are only just discovering us!
Seasalt Cornwall
One of our OG labels that Leonie bought into when she took over the business, Seasalt is still standing strong and proving popular with our customers!
We stock a selection of their clothing and accessories that can be enjoyed season after season, all boasting exceptional quality with designs and prints inspired by the Cornish coast.
Lily & Me
We first bought into Lily & Me in 2022, and have been advocates for the brand ever since! It has quickly become one of the shop’s most popular ranges amongst our customers (and staff!), and with their easy-to-wear styles, bespoke prints, and sustainable practices it’s easy to see why.
Crew Clothing
Our Crew collections offer our customers relaxed, practical pieces with coastal twists and quintessentially British styles. Born at a resort town in Devon, sailor stripes and rugby shirts are at the heart of this brand’s culture, with all pieces designed to be worn from week-to-weekend!
Brakeburn
Our most recent addition to the womenswear department, Brakeburn, sits alongside Crew in the shop and provides additional options for relaxed, everyday styling.
We’re only in our first season of Brakeburn, so our range is of a modest size while we test the waters, but we’re excited to see how it goes down with the Milners crowd!
Robell
Another one of the first brands that Leonie chose for the shop, Robell brings staple jeans and trousers that people keep coming back to. We all know how hard it can be to find a high quality, well fitted pair of jeans, and our customers often tell us that they’ve finally found them with Robell!
Their high-quality pieces are a bit of an investment, but you can rest assured that you will get your money’s worth from their long lasting, timeless styles.
Culture
Nestling amongst our other pattern and print-heavy brands, our basics range from Danish company ‘Culture’ provides our womenswear department with plain t-shirts and jumpers, which are perfect for those who are looking for a simple staple or layering piece.
White Stuff
Our White Stuff selection injects lots of personality into our groundfloor department, with their pieces boasting fun prints, thoughtful details, and original colour combinations. They are an environmentally responsible brand with a relaxed, if slightly quirky aesthetic!
We think it’s easy to see why their collections have been a core part of the Milners womenswear department for over ten years!
We’re only halfway there! So at the risk of you feeling like you may never find your way to the end of this blog, and the fact that we think our fabulous accessory collections deserve a write up of their own, we will take you through those brands in part 2 of ‘Get To Know Our Womenswear Department’!
