We are over the moon to share our new window with you, take a look at our ‘Alice in Wonderland’ scene!
We have been working hard behind the scenes to get this fantastic new window display together. Although we adored our Jubilee window featuring Her Majesty, the time came to say goodbye to The Queen (for now), and get our thinking caps on for our next window - what brands would be showcased in this display, what theme would we go for? After getting our heads together, we came up with this really exciting concept and we hope you love it just as much as we do!
The focus of the new window was all about creating colour and fantasy to coordinate with the new Sanderson Water Garden Collection which we fell in love with as soon as we saw it! This new collection was the starting point for the window, which then developed into a fun Alice in Wonderland-themed tea party scene!
The stunning new collection from Sanderson is inspired by the late 19th century and early 20th century which was a heavily romantic period for decor. You’ll notice the influence of oriental styles and features of patterns like those found in our nation’s ancestral homes. Along with a touch of glamour, subtle metallics and vibrant colours are used in this timeless collection to give the country aesthetic an elegant, contemporary twist!
Some of the patterns, bold colours, and animal patterns featured in the Water Garden Collection reminded us of some scenes from the latest Alice in Wonderland film. It inspired us to create a display with that in mind, as it’s the perfect way to start the summer season with lots of flowers, tea parties, and sunshine!
