Linda
Our lovely Linda is well known within the team for loving most of the stock that goes out onto our shelves, and has often been referred to as the shop’s best customer! Between Seasalt’s jersey dresses, White Stuff’s printed shirts, Powder’s bold scarves, and Fable’s adorable jewellery, she has curated a wardrobe that we can all be envious of!

Janet
Janet is certainly one of the most glamorous members of our team! When it comes to fashion she loves colour and a little sparkle, and never fails to turn up to work looking impeccable and perfectly colour co-ordinated. Janet is a true advocate for our Alice Rose Jewellery, and I don’t think we’re exaggerating when we say she owns nearly every piece from the collection!

When our youngest member of the team, Phoebe, started at Milners, she was never seen in any piece of clothing that wasn’t black- but she now may reluctantly admit that if you work in one of the most colourful shops in Leyburn for a couple of years, the colour does eventually rub off on you!🤫 So although she does shock us all every now and then when she turns up to work in a jumpsuit covered in bright yellow sunflowers, Phoebe’s palette does remain dark and earthy, which suits her style perfectly!

“I wrote this for Lauren—because she was too modest, and I’m not.” - Phoebe
Lauren’s fashion sense can be best described as equal parts Boho-chic and “I’ve just stepped out of a romantasy novel.” Think long sweeping coats, cosy turtlenecks and round glasses. She always manages to incorporate the latest trends whilst also putting her own stylish spin on things - like a Pinterest board come to life. Although drawn more to neutrals and plains, she does often throw a pop of colour in too!
